2007-08 (Freshman): Set a trio of career best times -- in the 100-yard butterfly by posting a time of 49.06, in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 1:49.02 and in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 4:32.25, all set at the ACC Championships...was a consolation finalist in the 200-yard butterfly...tapped for the 2007-08 ACC Academic Honor Roll.
Prep: Participated in club swimming for 11 years and high school swimming for four years...a graduate of Georgetown Preparatory School in North Bethesda, Md. ...was the captain of swim team at Georgetown Prep...Potomac Valley Swimming Performer of the Year in 2000 and 2004 for his age group with his club team...a four-year high school All-America selection...earned first and second academic honors in high school...was a U.S. Swimming senior national qualifier in the 100 fly and a junior national qualifier in the 200 fly and 200 free...was a member of the NCSA junior national all-star team.
